About us
Located in the heart of the South Wye area of Hereford, we are a welcoming, independent charity serving everyone across HR2. At our Community Hub and Shop, all are invited to come in, connect, and feel at home.

We are Newton Farm Community Association—rooted in our neighbourhood, but open to our entire HR2 community.
Our trustees, staff, and volunteers share a passion for making a meaningful difference. Whether you’re popping in for a friendly chat and a cuppa, looking to build your CV, or simply hoping to add a little structure and positivity to your day, we’re here for you.
Since October 2023, our charity has continued to grow by bringing people together and helping to build a stronger, more vibrant community. We support local groups to create new social activities and offer a range of wellbeing sessions, including our Walking Group and Healthy Heart Fridays.
We’re proud to work in partnership with Talk Community, Mind, St Michael’s Hospice, Halla’s Haven and many others. Together, we aim to empower people, open doors to new opportunities, and provide community-led trips and activities throughout the year.
Our shop plays a vital role in sustaining our work. Through our reuse-to-resell approach, we offer affordable, low-cost goods to everyone. Run by dedicated volunteers and supported by our staff team, the shop helps build a brighter, more sustainable future for both our charity and the community we serve. We offer training, support, and a welcoming space for anyone who would benefit from getting involved. Volunteering with us helps combat loneliness, boosts social inclusion, and strengthens our community from within.
There truly is something here for everyone, and we’d love to show you around our Community Hub and Shop. Why not pop in for a tour or consider joining us as a volunteer? Even one hour a week can make a big difference. Come and be part of our vision for a thriving, connected community.
