In addition to our core activities, we run a number of exciting side projects. You can read about some of the interesting activities that we run below.
Chat Back with Wyldwood Arts
We are working with Wyldwood Arts with their Chat Back project. Chat Back is an intergenerational, creative arts project.
Third-Party Reporting Centre
We are a third party reporting centre for hate crime. Hate incidents and hate crimes are acts of hostility or violence aimed at people because of who they are or what they believe in. Everyone has the right to feel safe and we aim to help address this by supporting people in reporting these incidents so that they can be looked into and managed accordingly.
Free Counselling Service
We're delighted to announce that following our initial pilot scheme which launched in December 2015, the free counselling service has returned to the Newton Farm Information Centre. We will be working with degree student counsellors from the University of Worcester, who are in their final year, in order to deliver the service.
Thanks to a donation of unclaimed bicycles from West Mercia Police and funding from Hereford City Council, Newton Farm Community Association and Hereford Cycle Hub can launch an exciting new partnership project. The Earn-a-Bike scheme gives young people the opportunity to learn about cycle repair and maintenance and even earn their own bike so that they are better able to access education, training and employment.
